Submission Terms

Your work stays yours.

You retain ownership of the original stories, drawings, and other work you submit to Imperfect Idea. Submitting your work does not transfer ownership to Imperfect Idea.

Only submit work you have the right to share.

Please submit only work you created yourself or work that you otherwise have permission to publish. You are responsible for making sure your submission does not violate another person's copyright or other rights.

Permission to display your work.

By submitting work, you give Imperfect Idea permission to store, display, and reproduce it as necessary to operate the site, including displaying it in listings, previews, discovery sections, and other areas of Imperfect Idea. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work.

Keep it yours. Keep it imperfect.

All imperfect ideas are welcome—as long as they're yours to share.

And don't worry. Submitting your imperfect idea won't make it perfect.
